Poem of the month: Another September
Every September, the same poem: Thomas Kinsella’s.
On the first of every month, I send a poem to a random, and ever-expanding, group of past and present colleagues. I’ve been doing it for about 16 years.
Every September I send the same one: Another September, by Thomas Kinsella. Every February, it’s his Mirror in February. I studied both at school, and Kinsella is a personal favourite.
