Poem of the month: The Point
March’s poem is by Kae Tempest.
On the first of every month, I send a poem to a random, and ever-expanding, group of past and present colleagues. I’ve been doing it for about 16 years.
This month’s is The Point, by Kae Tempest.
I saw Kae at All Points East a few years ago, and their performance of People’s Faces blew me away. The last line is such a simple call to arms. Lovely to start the month with a little hope.
