Two weeks

Obvious post alert but… two-week holidays are at least twice as good as one-week holidays.

I’m just back from my first two-week holiday in 10 years. We’ve been splitting summer breaks into two shorter breaks since we had kids, and the extra week is a total game changer.

I had no laptop, no access to emails and barely checked my phone (I did maintain my Wordle and Duolingo streaks, however). I’ve returned relaxed and refreshed and happy.

If you can take a two-week break, absolutely do it. I’m planning my next one already.
